Joel Foster

Joel Foster is a University Innovation Fellow and studies Computer Science and Japanese at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Since growing up, he has been interested in cultivating himself as an individual through many different facets, whether it was playing an instrument or becoming an elite speed skater. Now, he would like to develop his skills in creative thinking and problem solving within certain domains such as programming, Design Thinking, entrepreneurship, etc. He hopes that programs like UIF will give him the right mindset to keep absorbing new skills so that he can continue to lead a fulfilling and impactful career.
