Gian R. Grob is a University Innovation Fellow and a Design Management student at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Hochschule Luzern, currently in the third year of his bachelor's degree. He is originally from Wattwil, SG, a small town near the mountains in eastern Switzerland. Gian's professional path began about 9 years ago with an apprenticeship as a draughtsman in structural engineering, after which he worked both on construction and as a designer for some years. Before starting off in Lucerne, Gian spent one year at the Zurich University of the Arts, ZHdK, which led him to move from the all-creative work experience more in the direction of management and business, where the Design Management program came into place.
