Biography

Emma Parker Miller grew up in Wilmington, Delaware and attends Swarthmore College as a member of the Class of 2022. She is a prospective double major in Biochemistry and Peace & Conflict Studies, and she works as a Lab TA in the Biology Department and the Chemistry & Biochemistry Department. Her passions outside of school and work include environmental and social activism, playing piano, doing yoga, and spending time with friends.

Emma got involved with University Innovation Fellows through a friend who is very active in the innovation and entrepreneurship community on campus, and she sees it as an opportunity to help others, who may not already be involved with these programs, realize the connections that I&E have to their existing interests. She is particularly passionate about the intersections of innovation and entrepreneurship with activism and other forms of community change-making.
