= <h1> Overview<br/> </h1><p><img _fck_mw_valid= [[File:florida|"false" _fck_mw_filename="Florida" _fck_mw_location="none]][[File:Fsu pic." alt="Florida" class="fck_mw_notfound" /><img src="/images/8/82/Fsu_pic.jpg|" _fck_mw_filename="Fsu pic.jpg" _fck_mw_location="none]] " alt="Fsu pic.jpg" /></p><p>Flordia State University, Panama City is a neophyte in the I&E landscape. #160; It has made it's first steps towards creating an impact within innovation through the creation of the Business Innovations Center, and more recently, the establishment of the Florida State University IdeaSpace. #160; However, there are many things that Florida State University, Panama City lacks in providing students - particularly in the realm of motivation towards achieving and pursuing innovative entrepreneurial activities. </p><p>So, in order to foster this environment, we must attack the source that propagates these activites: the students. #160; The strategies laid within will be in establishing an environment that students can develop the skills that an innovator and entrepreneur needs. #160; While most universities have these foundational blocks, Florida State University, Panama City unfortunately does not. #160; </p><p>Strategies:</p>#<ol><li>Freshmen I&E#</li><li>Interdisciplinary Course - Advanced Elective#</li><li>IdeaSpace#Bring </li><li>Bring Research onto Campus#</li><li>Foster a greater union with local businesses</li></ol>= <h1> Freshmen I&E<br/> =</h1><p>Florida State University, Panama City was opened to freshman in the Fall of 2013. #160; This influx of highly motivated students was a great benefit to campus life, with student activities being created and led by the newly accepted Seminoles. #160; All of this energy could be directed into innovation, but there are currently no relevant classes that Freshmen can take, and no makerspaces to foster the belief that one can actually make anything at all. #160; Thus, we must create an environment for Freshman to participate in innovation and entrepreneurship in order to create the skills that they will use as an upperclassmen. #160; #160;</p>=== <h3> 1.
