Giulia Camargo is pursuing a B.A in Communication and Digital Madia from IE University in Madrid, Spain and is set to graduate in July 2020. She was born in São Paulo, Brazil, raised in London, England and Lisbon, Portugal and is currently working part-time in her university’s marketing department as a Social Media Manager.
Her experience includes working for a variety of start-ups such as Uniplaces, a room booking platform for students, Love the brands, a brands-only fashion shopping search engine in Madrid, and founding the international department of a modelling agency called Sonder World (formally Sonder People) in Lisbon. Giulia has international work experience as a translator in Lima, Peru and have participated in one of the world’s biggest Model United Nation’s conferences in The Hague as a journalist for the MUNITY newspaper (readership of over 5000+ students).
Giulia also has communication agency experience, having worked as Account Executive intern and copywriter for NAVE16, in Lisbon. Furthermore, is the founding editor for the IE University Student Newspaper, The Stork with a readership of over 6000 students and faculty members.
Giulia is a highly involved member of the student community, having been the Public Relations Officer and current President of the IEU Student Government, leader of the IEU Music Club and an official IEU Ambassador with a fellowship scholarship.
