She is an undergraduate studying Marketing with minors in Communication and Computer Information Systems at The University of Tulsa. Sophia is originally from Friendswood, TX, a suburb outside of Houston. Growing up, Sophia was heavily involved with sport teams. This was the start of her love of human connection and teamwork. Sophia’s love for sports, teamwork and handwork was the foundation to pursing a degree in Marketing.&nbsp;</span>

<span style="font-kerning: none">At The University of Tulsa, Sophia is involved with The Global Scholars Program. This program studies global issues, works on projects to better the community, and travels abroad. She is also the Community Service Cabinet Position for the Chi Omega Epsilon Gamma Chapter.&nbsp;</span>

<span style="font-kerning: none">In high school, Sophia was heavily involved in athletics, but also art and Student Council. She was Secretary of Student Council and Vice President of National Art Honor Society. She competed in a nation-wide competition, VANS Custom Culture. This competition was to design and paint four pairs of blank VANS shoes based on local flavor, music, art, and sport. The team had to design the shoes then market the shoes to gain votes. Sophie was the Team Lead and the team received 2nd place out of 3000 schools. The team won the Art Department $20,000. The experience with the VANS competition jumpstarted her interest in working in a creative environment with a team. Sophia wants to make a lasting impact on her campus and learn from her impact to apply to the real world after graduation.</span>
