Maldonado -De la Rosa''' ==is a University Innovation Fellow and a graduate student completing a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the School of Health Sciences in Universidad del Turabo (UT). She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Biology from the Universidad del Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras campus. 
At Universidad del Turabo, Ivonne, is involved with the local NSSHLA Turabo Chapter from Puerto Rico as President. She is a member of the Sorority Eta Gamma Delta, Alpha Chapter. For which, she has worked with different organizations to help both her community and her country. In addition, she has worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in forensic anthropology and bio-archeology. Ivonne’s recent research project consists on investigating the technique of Cervical Auscultation for the evaluation of dysphagia.

Funded by the National Science Foundation to learn about biotechnology commercialization paths. The Bio-Language Pathology at Entrepreneurship workshop exposed her to promote the School of Health Sciences in Universidad del Turabo (UT). She already has a Bachelor’s Degree entrepreneurial mindset in Integrative Biology from the Universidad del Puerto Rico, Río Piedras students on her campus.

In addition, she has worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant to Dr. Edwin Crespo Torres, forensic anthropologist and bio-archeologist. Her work included the recovery of pre-Columbian human remains found in Paso del Indio, Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. As well as establishing the biological profile (age, sex, stature and human group), pathological conditions and analysis of traumas that had left traces in both bones and teeth. Ivonne’s recent research project consists on investigating the technique of Cervical Auscultation for the evaluation of dysphagia. Recently she participated in the I-Corps Bio-Entrepreneurship Workshop in San Diego State University. Her performance and dedication satisfies and exceeds expectations. She leads by example, her experiences in life have prepared her to use her strengths to excel as a human being and as a leader.
