Ariel Obando is a first generation college student and parent studying Electrical Engineering at The City College of New York. Currently, he is undergoing a rigorous training to represent his campus as a University Innovation Fellow.
Throughout his collegiate years Ariel has had the opportunity to intern at several fortune 500 companies and NYC-based tech-startups. All of his professional experiences have guided him towards an entrepreneurship. Currently, Ariel is leading an e-commerce business that supplements his family and college expenses.
After college, Mr. Obando plans to pursue his entrepreneurship endeavors by further developing his company. Simultaneously, he will contine his passion for mentorship and peer mentoring through community outreach initiatives related to STEM.
