Branden is a third year student at the University of Delaware majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Materials Science. An Ex-Lacrosse player and cross-fitter, Branden works in chemistry research studying oxidation mechanisms and kinetics of heavy metals. He is actively involved in Engineers Without Borders on a project devoted to bringing clean water systems to the Philippines, is the president of his university's Biomedical Engineering student group and is heavily involved in K12 outreach. He hopes to pursue a graduate degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science and continue working in academia.
