Project One: Increase awareness of I&E Minor, Certificate, NOVA Fellowship

Ask interested faculty to promote I&E thinking into coursework
- Five minute ‘brain power’ warmups before class to get the gears running and ease into the challenges to be introduced during class

Project Two: Create innovative spaces outside of business school
- Pop-up workshops in engineering classes-especially the intro courses (Chem, electrical, mechanical, petroleum)
- Invite local innovative businesses-36 degrees North, FabLab Tulsa to help design this space in Keplinger or the student union, a central location for all students

Since Studio Blue already exists, find a way to use the space more effectively

Project Three: Engaging Tulsa startups

Reps from Tulsa startups to visit TU
- Williams, Phillips 66, Enterprise make frequent TU visits

- Usually a quick lunch-time visit, easy for students to attend

Project Four: Encouraging I&E for graduate students
- It's been found that graduate students have tech skills, but no communication skills
- The opportunity to apply design thinking into careers has not been lost
- Talk to the I&E faculty about implementing a graduate school option
- Self-study option
- Continuation of the Governor's Cup
- Is there an interest for grad students to get involved with I&E?
Project Five: Developing undergrad I&E in courses separate from the Minor
Begin Project Spring of 2018 Fall 2018.
- Train UIF students, other interested in Design Thinking, creativity methodologies to spread to other students.
- Begin with one hour course-Intro to I&E 1001, UIFers design the course
- Incorporate original ‘training’ material-TED Talks, mini challenges, interviews to gain perspective about campus ecosystem

Take advantage of faculty members’ input on a potential course-how would they answer questions such as:
- What is innovation to you?
- How can students excel with a design thinking mindset?
- Where are the weak spots in the world of education? Where are the strengths?
- How does cultivating an I&E environment become tangible at TU?

Learn to develop more complex curriculum- offer a permanent course for all majors available for all undergraduate students
- Allow this course to appear on the course catalog for all schools, offering it in the summer term as well

A. Assist NOVA(an innovation program for all studies) students with their individual projects
