The Leuphana is a young university. It is based on innovation instead of tradition. It is their ongoing aspiration to create a place that is being animated by the collective search for knowledge and viable solutions.
This already applies to the study. Therefore, Leuphana established the first public college in Germany, joined the academic program of Master and PhD in a graduate school and has its own professional school for demanding further education programs.
Every study is based on holism.Non-subjects, but socially relevant questions are at the forefront. From the very first day, this means embracing the various approaches of science. In order to research on subjects instead of in disciplines, Leuphana's science initiatives make it possible to contribute profound specialist knowledge to an overall university discourse. To include extra-curricular experience from the beginning is an important part of our academic culture.
