He is currently diving into the always innovative </span></div><div><span style="font-size:medium;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">[[File:Headshotphoto.png|thumb]]side of techniology with an extensive background in business and science in his major called ISBT (Integrated Science, Business and Technology). Trans has always been engaged in the realm of science, but has always had a passion for business. At 18, Trans was the lead sales representative for a well know street-wear store in Philadelphia called [http://www.shopatstatus.com <span style="color:#0000ff;">Status Shop</span>], and catered to all famous music artists who performed at the legendary venue, the TLA (Theatre of the Living Arts). </span></span></div><div><br/></div><div><span style="font-size:medium;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">On campus, Trans worked as a Lab Technician assisting in class labs and also in maintaining the lab for practial use. Then after this position and as a manager, Trans had learned all aspects of managing a business and took his skills to the next level of being a Biomedical Engineer/Sales Representative for a company contracted under Johnson and Johnson called [http://www.3dmedicalmfg.com/ <span style="color:#0000ff;">3D Medical Manufacturing</span>]. Here, Trans helped develop unique screws and plates used for surgery and also went out into the field to attract surgeons and hospitals to purchase these products. At the same time, Trans has always been an entrepreneur at heart, always finding ways to make something into a proftiable business. He has started his main 3D Printing Prototyping company called Dashbot (-bot) and has been making 3D printed prosthetic hands for children, adults and vets in the United States but also in the Philippines. His innovative mind has pushed Trans to develop many prototypes in the biomedical field and also for just simple use as well. By immersing himself in this program RJ has not only impacted his university’s campus of 5,000 students but also Philadelphia as a whole as he started implementing this type of teaching with his educational workshops under his company Dashbot. As CEO, he leads an innovative young team of 10 people to help ignite change to an ever-evolving city. From this, everyone who has been impacted can pay it forward to help make change where it is needed, anywhere at anytime. |
