Andrew Torrance

Andrew Torrance is a UIF Candidate from Santa Clara University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He is passionate about using his skills in engineering and leadership to better the world and believes that SCU is a great place to start!

He participates in numerous clubs including being the Vice President of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), a Project Manager for Santa Clara Innovation and Design (SCID), and member of SCU's Engineer's Without Borders chapter. He also serves as a mentor for his former high school robotics FRC team.

His leadership circle includes three other leaders of SCID and they hope to make a positive impact on the SCU campus through growing SCID, improving the annual Designathon, and expanding the usefulness of the campus' Maker Lab.
