He has been a research assitant in the Cardiac Systems Biology laboratory for over a year and a half and is collaborating with various researchers to study mechanisms that can cause heart failure. Anish received funding from the UVa SEAS Entrepreneurship Cup competition for pitching a mobile Congestive Heart Failure monitor that can quantify the progression of certain symptoms and help improve treatment. He is currently collaborating with researchers in the Electrical Engineering Department on build a working prototype.

EMTV

Anish is the president of a new club called the Emerging Medical Technolgy Ventures or EMTV at UVa. The club's vision is to organize fun and engaging events such as hackathons that bring students of different majors and skillsets together and tackle clinical needs and design challenges in the field of medical technology.
