Bio
Anish is a 3rd year Biomedical engineering major at the University of Virginia. Much of his work has focused on the cardiovascular system. He has been a research assitant in the Cardiac Systems Biology laboratory for over a year and a half and is collaborating with various researchers to study mechanisms that can cause heart failure. Anish received funding from the UVa SEAS Entrepreneurship Cup competition for pitching a mobile Congestive Heart Failure monitor that can improve treatment. He is currently collaborating with researchers in the Electrical Engineering Department on build a working prototype.
EMTV
Anish is the president of the Emerging Medical Technolgy Ventures club or EMTV at UVa. The club's vision is to organize fun and engaging events such as hackathons that bring students of different majors and skillsets together and tackle clinical needs and design challenges in the field of medical technology.
