I am a Mechanical engineering student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and also a staff member of the UAB Makerspace. I decided on engineering after joining my high schools robotics team. I really like the creative design process and fell in love with making ideas into reality. I am really interested in energy efficiency and sustainable solutions and I would like to work with companies that improve upon developing countries once I graduate. This passion for working with developing countries is founded upon my love for traveling and meeting people from different backgrounds. I also have always loved helping people and I would like to be involved with projects that improve upon someone's day to day life. My other interests include playing tennis, watching documentaries, and going to art shows and theater performances.
