<div>[[File:TranBerea.jpg|thumb|TranBerea.jpg]]<br/></div><div><span style="font-size:small;">Tran Nguyen is a sophomore at Berea College working towards a B.A. in Public Policy with a concentration on Women’s and Gender Studies. Tran’s research and professional interests center around entrepreneurship, international relations as well as public policies in education, immigrants and women’s rights.</span></div><div><br/></div>
<span style="font-size:small;">Tran discovered her interest in entrepreneurship through her participation in the Berea College’s Entrepreneurship for the Public Good (EPG) Program, where she currently works as an event planning associate. In her job, she works closely with students who demonstrate an interest in entrepreneurship to recruit them for the EPG Summer Institute. She also organizes events on Berea campus to advance entrepreneurship and innovation knowledge among students. Tran is also a member of the Women in Public Service Project, initiated by Secretary of the State Hilary Clinton, at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholar. She believes that teaching entrepreneurship to women is a good strategy to empower them.</span>
