Séline Dogan, originally from Gaziantep, Turkey, moved to Canada by herself at the age of 15 to pursue a better education and to find more career opportunities. One year later in 2014, she graduated from Halifax West High School in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she calls home now. Upon graduation, Séline got enrolled in Rowe School of Business at Dalhousie University to pursue a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree, majoring in International Business and minoring in Law. Séline is currently on a Co-Op Work Term, working for Shell Canada Ltd. in Trading & Supply in Calgary, Alberta.

Séline is very passionate about Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the expansion of E&I community inside and outside of Dalhousie’s campuses. Séline is an active member of E&I organizations and societies at her campus. In 2015, she worked on multiple non-for-profit entrepreneurship projects, giving workshops at local schools on financial literacy and also on entrepreneurship, and mentoring for high-school level business incubators. Competing or volunteering, she also enjoys participating in hackathons or startup weekends in her campus. She is looking forward to working on her new projects as a fellow.
