She prefers to be called Katie. She is currently studying to be a Biomedical Engineer and enjoys almost every minute of it. She won the Waltar Axar Award in the fall going into her sophomore year. She is Vice President of the university's Biomedical Engineering Society and secretary of the Society of Women Engineers. She is a Resident Advisor for juniors and seniors, along with a Calculus tutor. Katie is a University Fellow along side of Ben Kennedy and Jon Young. She is interested in many components of engineering, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
