She has completed a startup accelerator program through the University of Pittsburgh and pitch competitions at the Innovation Institute. Her experience with the Innovation Institute has given her insight into business and entrepreneurship. All of this work has led to a passion for research and sustainable and economic development. In her free time, Emily enjoys being outdoors and playing soccer.
