technology transfer intern with the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Research Foundation. In this role, I assist with the licensing and commercialization of university research and technology. Previously, I worked for a non-profit organization called BrightStar Wisconsin as an organizational development associate. BrightStar is a venture philanthropy firm, investing millions of dollars in Wisconsin companies with the unified mission of creating high quality jobs for the state of Wisconsin.
In addition to work experience, I am very involved in campus initiatives. One program I am particularly proud of is TEDxUWMilwaukee. I was on the founding board of students for our first conference in 2014, and was elected executive director for the 2015 conference. I coordinate with a team of 7 board members and approximately 25 general members to plan and execute the conferences and events throughout the school year to promote innovative ideas.
