Through the UIF program David is working on the following initiatives: </span></span></span>
<span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:medium;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0px;">1.StartupTech: StartupTech is a business incubator David is proposing that would help bridge the gap between technical talent and students with ideas. The StartupTech draft is in its third revision and a budget is being drawn up to be presented to the University. </span></span></span> <span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:medium;"> <span style="letter-spacing: 0px;">2.HackerBlock: The hacker block builds on an idea from the [http://azstarnet.com/business/local/tucson-techie-entrepreneurs-drop-anchor-at-pirate-mansion/article_f509c7ac-351e-5da8-8ee1-7693dc0fcd9a.html#.UwKW6cUV7cs.gmail <span style="letter-spacing: 0px; color: rgb(4, 46, 238);">University of Arizona</span>]. The idea is in its infancies but the concept is to have a block in Houghton Michigan devoted to entrepreneurs. </span></span></span>
