As a student at the University of Richmond, Will pursued and completed a Bachelor's degree in Leadership Studies, with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS). He was also one course shy of completing the requirements for a minor in English. As a student leader at the University of Richmond, Will was passionate and vocal about institutional innovation aimed at transforming the university experience for students with underrepresented identities. Evidence of his leadership during this time can be found in the editorials he published in the university's student-run newspaper, as well as in his multiple leadership positions.
