==Bio==
Kathryn Hoang is an industrial designer who finds joy in every form of craft. From hard products to soft goods, she loves putting her time and energy into making, whether that’s designing, sewing, throwing ceramics, or experimenting with new materials just to see what happens.
Originally from Charlotte, NC but now located in Atlanta, GA, Kathryn is completing her degree in Industrial Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she’s immersed herself in all things creative and collaborative. She’s been an active member of Design Bloc, and has served as a Lecture Assistant for courses she’s taken and loved, like Soft Goods Design and Sophomore Studio. In those roles, she guides, critiques, and advises students, giving back to the same classes that helped her grow as a designer.
Through design, she aims to create meaningful solutions that improve everyday experiences or simply enhance and bring a bit more beauty into them. Her goal is to design with impact, intention, and innovation.
