Changes

Mai Nguyen is currently a rising junior studying electrical engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. As a first-generation immigrant college student and dedicated Electrical Engineering student, Mai has been driven by a strong belief in the power of perseverance, knowledge, and community. She is fascinated with understanding the world better, why things work the way they do and uses her curiosity to implement her vision of change in . In the process she strives to understand the people around her and make them feel heard.

She is passionate about creating environments where people can learn and grow together, motivated by the idea that education is a shared journey. Through this reason, she has cultivated and co-founded MSOE's first pan-asian Asian community, Asian American Student Union. This legacy is a greater vision used to help form community and bring representation to MSOE. Through this project, she has learned what it means to be a leader and serve others.
