==Bio==

Valeria is an Industrial Engineer who graduated from the University of Engineering ~~sophomore at~~ and Technology (UTEC) in Peru. Since becoming a fellow in 2020, Valeria has played a prominent role in leading the "Design Your University Life" program, co-facilitating workshops on applied design for student life, and co-organizing the "Design Your Future" Summit. This program includes engaging workshops and panel discussions involving first-semester students.

~~Since she started college she was very interested~~ In addition to her involvement in ~~participating~~ the "Design Your University Life" program, Valeria had the opportunity to participate in ~~projects focused on social impact~~the Teaching and Learning Studio program. This program aims to explore design tools to create innovative learning experiences and enhance the participants' skills as designers, specifically addressing the challenges faced in university education.

Valeria ~~is part~~ was invited to join the organizing team for the UIF Silicon Valley Meetup 2023 and the UIF Meetup held at the University of ~~PuppyLab and is~~ Twente in the Netherlands, where she served as a ~~student organization at UTEC. Their mission is to improve mental health and wellness through canine interaction~~FAB. ~~Her role is to plan events~~ FABs provide valuable support during the event by co-facilitating workshops and ~~be in charge of marketing campaigns~~coordinating activities.

Her goal in life is to improve K12 education in Peru. Therefore, she is working on an educational project focused on empowering children to believe in themselves through creative workshops about science and design.==Achievements==

*Finalist of the UTEC Interdisciplinary Projects fair: Publibus: educate yourself while you transport yourself. A free medium was created that allows the user of the means of transport to access Wi-Fi without using a data plan.
