I decided to join this program because I want to improve on my leadership skills as well as meet other students who are highly involved in campus activities. I believe that it's important to surround yourself with people who are interested in positive change wherever they find themselves. It's almost a guarantee that people like us go on to do very well in their respective jobs and communities. |

Hello I'm Louisa Essuman. A junior civil engineering student at the Milwaukee School Of Engineering and a member of the UIF 6th cohort for my university. I decided to join this program because I want to improve on my leadership skills as well as meet other students who are highly involved in campus activities. I believe that it's important to surround yourself with people who are interested in positive change wherever they find themselves. It's almost a guarantee that people like us go on to do very well in their respective jobs and communities.
Outside of school, I enjoy watching and playing sports outside of school. To name a few; soccer, basketball, track and pickle ball. I also work in a 3d printing lab which is really fun. I get to teach students how to use the prusa 3d printing machines to print out cool models.
I'm super excited to be part of UIF and can't wait to meet you all in person in the Netherlands.
