==Bio==
Nathan Woolard is an applied assistant professor of management & entrepreneurship at the University of Tulsa. Nathan was born in Oklahoma to a family of small business owners; his grandfather owned a community newspaper in a suburb of Tulsa, while his father launched a music store in Claremore, Oklahoma, where he worked and spent much time in his younger years. After high school, he attended the University of Central Oklahoma for his undergraduate degree before pursuing a Master's in Public Administration at the University of Oklahoma and a doctorate at Oklahoma State University. In 2013, Dr. Woolard joined the faculty at Emporia State University as the director of leadership studies and assistant professor of business administration. In that time, Nathan and his wife launched a clothing store and e-commerce site and began exploring scholarship and applied work in the field of entrepreneurship. In 2016, Dr. Woolard followed his Dean to Meredith College as an associate professor of management and entrepreneurship, launching an undergraduate minor and MBA concentration in entrepreneurship & family business while starting an annual business pitch competition. After having served as the Director of Entrepreneurial Programs, and Associate Dean and Department Head for the Meredith Business School, Dr. Woolard returned to his native home of Tulsa in spring of 2022 as an applied assistant professor and director of the new JOLT@TU Business Center, a center inspired by the Stanford D.School and creates co-curricular programming for innovation, entrepreneurship, and the future of work.
