<span style="font-size:larger;"> The University of Cincinnati invented the concept of co-operative education in 1906 and has been working with hundreds of partners in the industry ever since. Students earn a collective $65 million annually from 6,000 placements across the United States and the world in fields ranging from Aerospace Engineering to Industrial Design to Finance. In addition to full length coopsco-ops, there are the university now shorter offers micro coops co-ops that connect students with industry partners to collaborate on a project short termproject.</span>

The Cincinnati Innovation District, an ecosystem of thinkers, researchers, students, and industry is poised to become an innovation hub for the Midwest and will be closely partnered with the university to produce $2bn in research, 20k jobs, and $3b 3bn in annual economic impact. The University of Cincinnati is one of the largest employers in the Greater Cincinnati area and, as a result, is a strong driver of economic development in local communities. The University university continues to grow through the installation of the Digital Futures building.
