==Engaging with Regional and Local Economic Development Efforts==
<span style="font-size:larger;"> The University of Cincinnati is strongly connected with local Innovation and Entrepreneurship infrastructure. The Cincinnati Innovation District, an ecosystem of thinkers, researchers, students, and industry is poised to become an innovation hub for the Midwest and will be closely partnered with the university to produce $2bn in research, 20k jobs, and $3b in annual economic impact. The University of Cincinnati is one of the largest employers in the Greater Cincinnati area and, as a result, is a strong driver of economic development in local communities. The University continues to grow through the installation of the Digital Futures building. By bringing in companies focused on leveraging innovation, the University propagates a collaboration between students and CID partners.</span>
