Faculty Champion:Daniel Flores Bueno

I have always seen myself as a long-distance runner whose virtue is not speed but endurance.

My name is Daniel Flores Bueno and I am a journalist, educators and researcher. I have written for Rolling Stones, Maxim and several newspapers and magazines in Latin America.

As an educator I have more than 15 years of experience as a university professor in Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas and a master's degree in education. As for research, this is a field in which I am training as a doctoral student in Strategic Management with a mention in Innovation.

I have published an article in a Q3 journal and I have two papers under evaluation. In 2019 I participated as a speaker at the International Congress of Educational Innovation organized by the Tecnológico de Monterrey (TEC) with a research on a topic related to the use of gamification in the development of information literacy competencies.

Achievements I have participated as co-author in the following books: Internet total (Adobe Editores, 2000), Las mejores crónicas de Gatopardo (Debate, 2006), La inevitable globalización. Cultural and economic approach to the world scenario (UPC, 2017) and La oscura globalización. Essays on crime as a global phenomenon (UPC 2020).
