Bio
Aishani Nalla is a University Innovation Fellow, a second year graduate student studying Occupational Therapy at IONA College, and part of class of 2023. Aishani is originally from Rochester, NY but moved to Long Island during her middle school and has lived there ever since. Through the occupational therapy program on campus, Aishani learned about the Hynes Institute and the value of entrepreneurship in healthcare. She participated in the idea hack-a-thon presented every year and won first place for her idea of how to keep college students connected to their campus with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Outside of school, Aishani works at a non-profit that serves people with disabilities as well as works with a student at IONA with Cerebral Palsy once a week. She also volunteers often in the community often advocating for the need for occupational therapy.
