<gallery>MaryMcGeeGrad[[File:MMGrad.jpg|thumb]]</gallery>Mary McGee I became a UIF in fall 2016 at Southern Illinois University. During her my time thereat SIU, she I was able to create a resource guide for first-generation college studentsas well as help re-vamp the UIF program. Mary also worked with and mentored the 2018 cohort of UIFs I continued to be involved in UIF at SIU. Mary until I graduated in May 2019 with a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Throughout her my time at SIU, Mary I discovered her my love for mentoring and supporting college students, which led me to her pursuing a master's degree at Colorado State University studying Student Affairs in Higher Education (expected May 2021). Mary is I am currently working involved with UIFs at CSU to create UIF as a mentorship program that better supports first and second-year students. Mary is passionate about social justiceuiguide, most specifically equity and inclusionbut I still hope to dig into some of my passion projects in the future. Once she graduates with her master'sAs a future higher education administrator, Mary hopes I am excited to continue working as a student affairs professional using the skills I have gained through UIF to make change and improve the higher education system while creating inclusive environments that support students with marginalized identitieson college campuses. </span></span>
