<div>Michelle wanted to continue the work that she started in her Freshman Design Thinking for Social Product Innovation course, and with the help of her professor, Michelle and her friends (past UIF Fellows) started the Social Innovation Club on Grand Valley’s campus. This is an interdisciplinary club that takes student innovators into the problems in the Grand Rapids/Grand Valley community and works to create change and solve those problems through the Design Thinking process. Staying active on campus, she is also a member of the Design Thinking Academy, and Women’s Rugby Club.&nbsp; Michelle works for Michigan Health Information Network as a Project Management Intern, Hope Network as a Rehabilitation Technician, and LendGR as a Student Consultant.
