Samantha Peterson is a sophomore Biomedical Engineering major with a cell and tissue sequence at Western New England University. She is most interested in biotechnology and cancer research. She hopes that, with her major, she can work with oncology. She is also apart of Biomedical Engineering Society and Society of Women engineers on campus. She is originally from Brookfield, CT and works at an ice cream store over the summer. She joined University Innovation Fellows to connect with people around the country. She would love to be able to work in a different states other than New England.
