Tanner is a student majoring in Technology Management at Utah Valley University. Fascinated by the Design Thinking process, Tanner teaches seminars on innovation to students and members of the community. He is working with educators to create a makerspace on UVU's campus where students from all disciplines can work together to solve the world's problems.</span></span>

Tanner also works and mentor in the UVU Business Resource Center as a Business Go-To-Market Accelerator - an early-stage incubator that assists entrepreneurs in validating, modeling, and Research Analystscaling their businesses. He teaches classes and counsels start up companies as they validate their ideas&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size:medium;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica, create business modelssans-serif;">creates value by embedding human-centered design into core curriculum; bringing real-world, experiential learning to workshops; and eventually go providing clients with opportunities to work across disciplines to marketcreate innovative solutions. Tanner He works with USTAR (The Utah Science Technology state-run organizations and Research Initiative) local businesses to host pitch create mutually beneficial partnerships, programs, and events where companies who attend his classes can pitch their ideas that provide opportunities for Grant Moneyeconomic development in the state of Utah.&nbsp;</span></span>
