http[[File://universityinnovationFile.org/images/b/b0/png|thumb|left|200px|File.pngThomas png]] Thomas Negaard is in a Junior at the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul, Minnesota, studying Civil Engineering. Born and raised in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, he chose the UST for its size, faculty , and opportunities for exploration. One of these opportunities being University Innovation Fellows. He found out about the program through a professor of his and saw the program as a chance to make a difference in the university, build relationships with faculty, and meet other innovators from around the country.
