<parsererror style="display[[File: blockIMG 0571.jpg|frame|IMG 0571.jpg]]JeDawn Gaither is a University Innovation Fellow and a dual Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health Student at the University of Georgia (UGA). Her focuses include healthcare disparities, underserved, minority populations, increasing diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusivity. JeDawn is from Stockbridge, Ga and she attended Clayton State University (CSU) in Morrow, GA and received a degree in Psychology and Human Services with a minor in Social Work. At CSU she discovered her passion for helping people and decided to become a change agent. She was introduced to Social Work and developed a stronger interest in social sciences. She was a member of The Fashion Society, a diverse group of individuals who expressed the importance of individuality, body positivity, and acceptance. white JeDawn has always been interested in entrepreneurship and has a few small businesses that she will be launching soon. She was involved in modeling and acting from a very young age and is a mentor to a few high school girls in her community. She enjoys helping others attain their dreams and aspirations. At Clayton State University, JeDawn also participated in the Interfaith Leadership Ambassador Program (ILAP) she gained an interest in diverse religious and non-color: #fdd; color: black">religious interactions. She would like to bridge the gaps of individuals from different backgrounds and build strong communities. After graduating from CSU JeDawn knew she wanted to further her education and obtain a degree in Social Work. She only applied to UGA because of the dual degree program they offered and started right after her undergraduate years. <parsererror style="display: block; whiteIn her first year as a graduate student, JeDawn worked full-spacetime at a local doctor’s office and interned at Southeastern Psychological Associates. She was introduced to the University Innovation Fellows through one of her peers and former Professor. She is eager to make change on campus with her innovative ideas.
