Belinda Harris is University Innovation Fellow and undergraduate studying a double degree in Architecture + Interior Architecture at the University of Canberra, Australia. She is an active member on campus and involved in volunteer activities and architecture clubs at UC and the wider Canberra area. Recent volunteer activities include assisting University of Canberra Architecture Masters candidates to build ‘NAMAKO’ by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma for the Design Canberra Festival.
Passionate about architecture and urban environments, Belinda is keen to explore how design thinking strategies can be applied to passion problems from architecture + design to mental wellness. In Canberra Belinda rebuilt her life after the death of her partner and it would be an absolute privilege to leave a legacy as a ‘thank you’ to the city and the University of Canberra for giving her the space to heal and reach her full potential.
