Ash Nanda is a third year electrical engineering major at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Since he believes in interdisciplinary thinking, Ash holds eclectic academic interests, including minors in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Economics. At university, Ash spends much of his time[[File:AshN Headshot.jpeg|thumb]] advocating for students, as a senator in the Undergraduate Student Government and within the Student Multicultural and Diversity Programs. He also spends time mentoring first year international students. Within his school, Ash acts as an Engineering Leadership Scholar, providing tours to prospective students. Ash's hobbies include playing table tennis, playing video games (predominantly League of Legends), and watching classic movies and USA, HBO, or Netflix original TV series.
