Although Daniel hasn't found Yim is an emphasis within the international business field, major at Susquehanna University where he is always pursuing opportunities and new experiences has received a great liberal arts education allowing him to find his nichegain insight into a variety of disciplines. Daniel He is originally from Warrington, Pennsylvania and hopes to work overseas one day.</span> </div><div style="clear:both;"><span xml:lang="EN-US">Daniel is involved in also a range</span> <span xml:lang="EN-US">of diverse clubs and </span><span xml:lang="EN-US">communities at SU such as Asian Cultural </span><span xml:lang="EN-US">Association, </span><span xml:lang="EN-US">D.I.</span><span xml:lang="EN-US">C.E (</span><span xml:lang="EN-US">Design</span><span xml:lang="EN-US">, University Innovation, Creativity, Entrepreneurship) Club</span><span xml:lang="EN-US">, League Club,</span> <span xml:lang="EN-US">Marketing</span><span xml:lang="EN-US"> Club</span><span xml:lang="EN-US">,</span> <span xml:lang="EN-US">P.I.E.R </span><span xml:lang="EN-US">(</span><span xml:lang="EN-US">Professional</span> <span xml:lang="EN-US">Internship</span><span xml:lang="EN-US"> and Employment Readiness Program</span><span xml:lang="EN-US">). In Fellows candidate for the Fall 2017 leadership circle on his spare time, he enjoys learning about new ideas campus and skills, reading and playing </span><span xml:lang="EN-US">competitive</span><span xml:lang="EN-US"> games. </span> </div><div style="clear:both;"><span xml:lang="EN-US">Growing up in Warrington, Daniel was very interested in learning and trying out new things. Daniel has been in scouting since he was in third grade and eventually earned the rank of Eagle Scout during his time in scouting, learning a variety of different skills in the outdoors, leadership skills, and has earned over fifty merit badges during first UIF member from his scouting </span><span xml:lang="EN-US">career</span><span xml:lang="EN-US">2020 class. He has applied his love helped create the first creator and innovator showcase and helped push for learning in the real world by teaching himself how to cook a variety of different foods in the kitchen, building his own computer mentoring and many other more. This passion has led Daniel to continue to take </span><span xml:lang="EN-US">opportunities</span> <span xml:lang="EN-US">and hopes University Innovation Fellows will help him further innovation center on his learning in order to make an impact on the communitycampus.</span> </div>
A global leader with a passion for cross-cultural interactions and perspectives, Daniel has an adaptive mindset that has allowed him to gain global opportunities. He has been recognized by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S State Department by being award the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship that has allowed him to study abroad in Tokyo, Japan for the fall 2018 semester. He has also been recognized by his school and was 1 of 7 students who received the Eric Stein Scholarship, allowing him to intern in Seoul, South Korea during the summer of 2019.
Back on campus, Daniel has been involved in a range of diverse clubs and communities at SU such as the Asian Cultural Association, D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovation, Creativity, Entrepreneurship) Club, League of Legends Club, Marketing Club, P.I.E.R (Professional Internship and Employment Readiness Program). Daniel is also a large advocate and mentor for students wanting to study abroad, providing students with resources to help them succeed and scholarship resources such as the Gilman Scholarship.
Growing up in Warrington, PA, Daniel participated in Boy Scouts and became an Eagle Scout, involved in music, marching band, and spending the rest of his time working or reading. Some of his hobbies include cooking, designing, reading, PC building, and photography. Driven by his passion for helping support others, learning new things, and his global mindset, Daniel is interested in the success of himself and his coworkers, friends, and students.
