AGGIE PRIDE! I am a business management student with a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. I also have a double major in Liberal Studies with a concentration in International Studies. </span></div><div><br/></div><div><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,cursive;">In the fall of 2015 I joined , as a group of freshman, she worked with three other students to compete in a social entrepreneurship competition. Although our project was not selected for that particular competition, that's when we found out about the Ford community challenge just days before the deadline. My group and I founded what became MakeIT MarkET an . An innovative, hands-on approach, educational program targeted towards high school students from disadvantaged communities. Bria continues to operate MakeIT MarkET which on her own today. In addition, to the youth outreach program program Bria launched this fall! Following </span><font face="comic sans ms, cursive">Innovation Lab, InLab, for her college peers. The InLab serves as a makerspace, coworking space, and an educational program for entrepreneurship, DESIGN THINKING, computer science and more.</font></div><div><br/></div><div><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,cursive;">Bria also participates in hackathons and entrepreneurial competiitions across the success of that competition I continued to enter more competitions on my ownnation. I found She finds the competitions to be beneficial in several ways. For instance , they helped me help her grow my her critical thinking and analytical skills. I was looking at social problems that impacted people everyday lives and tried to find solutions for them that were effective, innovativenetwork, and refreshinglearn about new emerging technologies. In additionHer total competion winnings is over $25, I 000. The competitions also increased my public speaking skills exponentiallydrive her </span><font face="comic sans ms, as well as my ability to conduct researchcursive">entrepreneurial spirit. After completing my first successful year at North Carolina ABria is currently working on two separate&T State I nbsp;startups. She had the opportunity privilege of going through a rigorous accelerator program that helped launch the Beta of one of her startups, AgSol.</font></div><div><br/></div><font face="comic sans ms, cursive">Bria is also passionate about advocating on behalf of her communities. Her goal is to study abroadbuild a sustainable entrepreneirship and innovation ecosystem, among Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and the greater Black community. I Traveled Bria is involved in her local elections, and she also leverages her platform to Moroccodiscuss today's societal issues. After graduation, in spring 2019, where I studied my third language Arabic along with an intensive course Bria plans on gender studieslaunching her career in Private Equity.
