After taking From his experience as a diversity and education course in student teacher his senior year of high school, Jay witnessed the flaws in our current education model system firsthand. Following This prompted him to reject the wisdom pursuit of his grandfather, he started focusing achievement and focus on developing himself as a person, eschewing becoming the “rat race” best version of the education-industrial complex, to create the life he wants for himself. Currently, Jay is working with a team to build a website spanning his school that will allow students to connect and collaborate on their ideas and to increase student internship/research oppurtunities.
