Qi Chen is a University Innovation Fellow and a senor student study Industrial Engineering at Zhejiang University (ZJU). Data analysis and optimization are fields that he is passionate about. 

He learned design think in the freshman year, and decided to minor in Industrial Design. Design changes our life, but sometimes a good idea does not easily come up. Last year, he joined her professor’s lab which focuses on garment robot. It is so inconvenient when we buy clothes online since we do not know whether the clothes fit us well? During research, we found there were various ways you could describe how clothes fit you. Based on that, the aim of garment robot was designed and tested to achieve the goal of online clothes fitting. 

As a candidate of the UIF program, he wants to be engaged in multi-discipline cooperation and learn how to put inspiring ideas into practice.
