Sarena Nguyen is currently a junior studying chemical engineering with a minor in energy at Colorado School of Mines. She is currently an Undergraduate Research Ambassador and an undergraduate research assistant studying Lithium-Air batteries. She is also involved in the OER Steering committee and the Colorado Renewable Energy Society. She is hoping to be able to research more types of energy storage in the future. Through UIF, she is hoping to increase the outreach of open educational resources on campus and on creating more sustainability initiatives on campus. In her free time, she enjoys skiing and hiking.
