Romaine Knight is a senior at Prairie View A&M University pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Originally hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, Romaine has always lived by the mantra to "improve every ecosystem that he inhabits, leaving it better than he found it". He considers himself a servant leader that upholds the mandate for student advocacy and success. An active student within the College of Business, he has charted the school’s investment club with the focus of inculcating skills in portfolio management and gaining exposure relevant for career advancement in the financial services industry.
He is also the student representative on the investment board of the school’s Panther Investment Fund where students learn applicable skills in equity valuation & research. Through his work with the school’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship program, he has developed a passion for where financial services meet technology and believes ventures in Fintech can help underserved and underbanked communities.
Romaine hopes to build on his career in innovation by impacting every ecosystems he inhabits through his work with SUIF.
