Isabella Libonate is majoring in Biochemistry at the Colorado School of Mines. She is apart of many on campus organizations as both members and holding leadership roles. She is the current Director of Programming for Mines' Residence Hall Association as well as a Study Abroad Peer Advisor. Additionally she is a member of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers and the Pre-medical Society.

Isabella's interest in Biochemistry came from her educational strengths lying in the STEM field, and her passion of volunteering with children. Ultimately, by mixing these two she hopes to pursue a career as a pediatrician.

In the summer of 2021 Isabella enrolled in John Cabot University in Rome, Italy where she lived for the whole summer. During her time in Italy not only did she travel and study, but also took part in several environmental clean-ups led by John Cabot's community service club.

Outside of the classroom Isabella likes so go on hikes, enjoys hammocking, and going to the gym. Her favorite kind of adventures are the most spontaneous ones, especially with friends and family.
