Innovate Carolina functions as the hub of the ecosystem with the various student groups, departments and faculty groups acting as spokes. The 5-year roadmap outlines UNC’s approach towards building an innovation ecosystem and &nbsp;for continually monitoring and updating it. This year (2015) marked the end of the 5-year plan and as a culmination Innovate Carolina in partnership with Chancellor Folt hosted the Innovation Summit. The Innovation Summit was a 2-day event that brought together 100 stakeholders (administrators, students, faculty, alumni, </span>investors<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 13.3333px; white-space: pre-wrap; line-height: 1.2;">and legislators) to reflect on the progress of our I&E ecosystem and our priorities moving forward.</span>
