There is a small number of health design labs in the United States, and an even smaller number that focus on medical education and social innovation. Over the last ten months our lab has been dedicated to creating a new mission and vision for the future of our lab. Our mission is to advance the innovation of medical education by empowering change makers through empathy, experimentation, and curiosity. Our programs are designed to challenge the status quo and encourage participants to be open to new perspectives. Using this mission, we can offer our community of designers an opportunity to learn and connect with one another. Milwaukee has a strong higher education presence that we can tap into and that would have interest in working on co-developing a project like this.
