-Well Being a part of UIF opened me many doors and I am grateful for accepting and taking a leap of faith in me. What I mean by opening many doors is understand my own problems, empathize with others and understand them by setting myself in their shoes and helping them solve the problems through brainstorm and empathy. I remain drawn to the unfamiliar, still searching for new ways to challenge myself, still willing to be the least experienced person in the room. Its the most uncomfortable thing in the world I could have ever imagined wanting to do or enjoying. I've never really cared about many things and learn an entirely new skill is deeply satisfying to recreate that feeling knowing nothing in a very hard world. The incremental tiny satisfactions of being a little less awful at something every day or looking forward to the day where you might possibly be a little bit better. I mean,it's a never ending journey and it appeals to some part of my brain that I haven't visited before and UIF tools has showed me how to deal with this never ending journey by trying to be a better person every day to myself and to others who are willing to connect.
